HP laptop compatibility

This iTekiro 65W car charger powers and charges compatible HP 14, 15 and 17-inch laptops from a vehicle 12V or 24V outlet. It replaces original 45W and 65W adapters but cannot substitute a 90W unit. The adapter delivers 19.5V at 3.34A with short-circuit and over-temperature protection. A smart LED indicator shows power status while the long cord provides flexible placement inside the cabin.

Sustained in-vehicle operation

The charger maintains its 65W maximum output continuously while the engine runs, drawing from the DC 12-24V supply without AC conversion. Protection circuits guard against short circuits and excessive heat during extended journeys. Power consumption stays low and the LED indicator remains visible in daylight. The compact 4.33 x 1.69 x 1.18 inch housing weighs 9.7 oz and resists vibration on rough roads.

Pre-purchase checklist

Verify your HP model appears in the supported list such as 14-dq0703dx, 15-fd0057nr or 17-cn4065cl before ordering. Confirm the original adapter rating is 45W or 65W because this unit will not replace a 90W adapter. Ensure the vehicle provides a standard 12V or 24V cigarette-lighter socket. The package includes a one-year replacement warranty from the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 65W car charger produce during a full day of driving?

The unit includes short-circuit and over-temperature protection plus a smart LED indicator; it runs silently with no fan and stays cool under normal 12–24 V input.

What must my vehicle already provide for this adapter to work?

A standard 12 V or 24 V cigarette-lighter socket is the only requirement; the 4.33 in cord plugs directly in.

Will this 19.5 V 3.34 A charger safely run an older HP laptop that originally shipped with a 45 W brick?

Yes — it replaces both 45 W and 65 W HP adapters, but it does not replace 90 W models.
