65W USB-C Adapter for Dynabook and Tecra

This 65-watt USB-C AC adapter replaces original Dynabook 45W and 65W chargers for Portege X30T and Tecra X40 series laptops. It delivers configurable output voltages of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V to match the connected device. The unit accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60 hertz. It is not a substitute for 90W power supplies.

Replaces 45W and 65W OEM chargers

The adapter supersedes Dynabook part numbers PA5257U-1ACA and PA5279U-1ACA across multiple Portege and Tecra models including X30T-E3142, X30T-E3144 and X40 variants from D1452 through F1454. Upgrading is worthwhile when the original charger is lost, damaged or when a spare with extra cable length is needed. It will not meet the power demands of systems requiring a 90W adapter.

65W headroom with 6-foot cables

At 65 watts the adapter comfortably handles charging and operation for the listed Portege and Tecra ultraportables under typical workloads. The package includes a six-foot UL-listed AC cord and a six-foot DC cord for extended reach without extension leads. Safety circuitry filters input surges and limits output voltage and current. Ruggedised casing resists moisture and humidity in mobile environments.
