65W USB-C Adapter for Lenovo 100e 2nd Gen

This 65W USB-C AC adapter replaces the genuine Lenovo 45W and 65W chargers for the Lenovo 100e Windows 2nd Gen and 100e Chromebook 2nd Gen. It supplies power through a USB Type-C connector with Power Delivery, adjusting output across 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V up to 3.25A. Buyers who need a proprietary barrel-tip charger for other Lenovo models cannot use this unit.

Installation and common issues

The adapter includes a 6 ft UL-listed 2-prong AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord, giving ample reach without extra extension leads. Plug the AC cord into any 100–240V 50–60Hz outlet, connect the USB-C end to the laptop, and charging begins automatically. The ruggedised case resists moisture and humidity, but the USB-C port must be kept free of debris to maintain a reliable connection.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that your device is a Lenovo 100e Windows 2nd Gen (81M8 series) or 100e Chromebook 2nd Gen (82CD series) and that it charges via USB-C Power Delivery. Confirm the original charger was rated 45W or 65W; this adapter will not suit laptops requiring higher wattage or a different connector type. The worldwide input voltage covers travel use without a separate converter.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 65W USB-C adapter is delivering the correct voltage after plugging it in?

The adapter negotiates 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V automatically; watch for the laptop’s charging indicator and verify the reported input voltage in the OS power settings matches one of those levels.

What cables come in the box and is there anything else I need to buy?

A 6 ft UL-listed 2-prong AC cord and a 6 ft DC output cord are included; no extra cable is required for supported Lenovo USB-C models.

My Lenovo 100e 2nd Gen shipped with a 45W charger — should I choose this 65W version or a lower-wattage unit?

This 65W adapter replaces both genuine 45W and 65W Lenovo chargers, so it covers either original specification safely.
