This 65W USB-C AC adapter supplies power to Lenovo ThinkBook 15 models including 20VG0065US, 20VG0066US, 20VG006BUS, 20VG007JUS, 20VG007KUS, 20VG007LUS, 20VG007MUS and 20VG007NUS. It delivers adjustable output from 5V to 20V at up to 3.25A for compatible USB-C devices. Worldwide input of 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz suits travel use. Buyers who need a barrel-tip connector for older ThinkBook models cannot use this unit.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The adapter operates silently with no moving parts, so it adds no audible noise to a workspace. Its high power efficiency provides consistent and continuous power during normal charging sessions. The ruggedised case withstands harsh mobile environments and tight sealing protects against moisture and high humidity. Internal safety features filter input line voltage spikes and limit output voltage or current to protect the laptop.

Behaviour under sustained load

Comprehensive internal safety features filter input surges and limit output voltage or current during extended charging periods. The UL-listed 6 ft 2-prong AC cord plus 6 ft DC cord give a combined reach without extension leads. High power efficiency maintains stable delivery over long sessions rather than short bursts. The durable enclosure resists heat buildup and environmental stress during continuous operation.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 6 ft AC cord and the 6 ft DC cable to the adapter and my ThinkBook 15?

Plug the 2-prong AC cord into a wall outlet (100–240 V, 50–60 Hz), then insert the USB-C DC connector firmly into the laptop's charging port until it clicks; the brick sits between the two cords.

Which part of this charger is most likely to need replacement first?

The 6 ft USB-C DC cable endures repeated bending and plugging, so its connector or internal wires typically wear out before the ruggedized brick or the UL-listed AC cord.

What limits continuous output during a long charging session?

The adapter is rated for 65 W maximum (up to 20 V at 3.25 A); sustained loads at that level will hit the thermal and current protection limits built into the brick.
