65W USB-C AC Adapter for ThinkBook 15

This 65-watt USB-C power adapter is built for Lenovo ThinkBook 15 models including the 20VE and 20TG series. It replaces the original 45W and 65W chargers supplied by Lenovo and delivers up to 65W through a single USB-C connection. The unit accepts a worldwide AC input range of 100 to 240 volts at 50 to 60Hz.

Extra-long cords and adjustable voltage

A six-foot AC power cord and a six-foot DC output cord are included, giving a combined reach that removes the need for extension leads in most setups. The adapter negotiates output at 5, 9, 12, 15 or 20 volts with a maximum current of 3.25 amps, matching the device's own power profile automatically. The AC cord carries a UL listing and the brick integrates surge filtering and output limiting for electrical protection.

For ThinkBook 15 owners needing a direct replacement

This adapter suits users who want a like-for-like 65W USB-C charger with long cables for the ThinkBook 15 family listed above. Buyers whose laptops require a proprietary barrel connector or a higher wattage brick should look at a different power supply.

Questions about this item

Does the 6 ft DC cord or USB-C connector wear out first with daily plugging?

The USB-C connector is rated for thousands of insertion cycles, while the 6 ft DC cord uses strain-relieved wiring; typical failure appears at the connector after heavy use.

What thermal limit throttles output during continuous 65W loads?

Internal over-temperature protection reduces current if the adapter case exceeds its safe operating threshold, restoring full 65W once cooled.

How much heat and fan noise appear when the adapter runs at 65W all day?

The sealed ruggedised case has no fan; it dissipates heat silently through the enclosure, staying warm but within UL-listed safety limits.
