65W USB-C Adapter for ThinkPad T490s and T495

This 65W USB-C AC adapter replaces the genuine Lenovo 45W and 65W chargers for ThinkPad T490s and T495 models. It delivers power over USB Type-C using Power Delivery across voltages of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V up to 3.25A. The unit suits owners of those specific laptops who need a spare or replacement power supply.

Plug-in installation with two six-foot cords

Installation is straightforward: connect the 6 ft 2-prong AC cord to the wall and the 6 ft DC cord to the laptop USB-C port. The UL listed AC cord and internal surge protection filter input spikes and limit output voltage or current. The ruggedised case resists moisture and high humidity. No driver setup is required; the adapter negotiates voltage automatically with the device.

Verify your model uses USB-C charging at 65W

Before ordering, confirm your ThinkPad charges via USB-C and accepts a 65W supply. The adapter supports worldwide input of 100 to 240V at 50 to 60Hz. It is not suitable for laptops that require a proprietary rectangular tip or a higher wattage than 65W. Buyers needing a different connector or greater power should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 65W USB-C adapter is delivering power to my ThinkPad T490s after plugging it in?

The adapter adjusts output to 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V up to 3.25A; check the laptop’s battery icon for the charging indicator and verify the LED on the DC connector lights up.

What cables are included with the iTekiro 65W charger and do I need to buy anything else for my T495?

The box contains a 6 ft UL-listed 2-prong AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord attached to the adapter; no extra cable is required for USB-C charging on the T495.

Should I choose the 65W model or a 45W version for a ThinkPad T490s 20NXS2U200?

This 65W unit replaces both genuine Lenovo 45W and 65W chargers, so it covers the T490s 20NXS2U200 and all listed T495 part numbers without needing a lower-wattage option.
