65W USB-C adapter for ThinkPad P-series

This 65W USB-C AC adapter powers Lenovo ThinkPad P15s, P43s and P52s models through a single USB Type-C connection. It replaces genuine Lenovo 45W and 65W chargers and automatically adjusts output voltage from 5V to 20V to match each device's requirement. The unit delivers up to 3.25A maximum current for compatible laptops.

Practical limits of USB Power Delivery

The adapter accepts worldwide AC input from 100V to 240V at 50Hz or 60Hz, so it works on any mains supply without a separate voltage converter. Output is constrained by the USB Power Delivery specification to the listed voltage steps of 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V and 20V with a 65W ceiling. Devices that demand higher wattage or proprietary charging protocols will not draw full power from this unit.

Installation and common issues

Connection is straightforward: plug the detachable 6ft AC cord into the wall, attach the 6ft DC cable to the adapter, then insert the USB-C tip into the laptop. The ruggedised case resists moisture and humidity, while internal circuitry filters voltage spikes and limits output to protect the notebook. Buyers who need a second simultaneous charging port or a higher-wattage supply for larger workstations should look elsewhere.
