65 W USB-C Adapter for ThinkPad X1

This 65 W USB-C AC adapter supplies power to Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano and X1 Tablet models listed in the compatibility data. It accepts worldwide AC input from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz and delivers up to 65 W through a USB Type-C connector. The unit includes a six-foot AC cord and a six-foot DC cord for flexible placement. It replaces genuine Lenovo 45 W and 65 W chargers.

Suits X1 Nano and X1 Tablet owners

Buyers with a ThinkPad X1 Nano or X1 Tablet from the listed part numbers can use this adapter as a direct replacement. Users whose laptops require a proprietary rectangular tip or a higher wattage than 65 W should look at other options. The adapter provides only the USB-C output described in the specifications.

65 W USB-C output decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 65 W maximum output over USB Type-C at 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, or 15 V. If the target device charges through USB-C within that power envelope, the adapter will work. If the device needs a different connector or more power, this unit is not suitable.

Questions about this item

What length power cords does the 65 W adapter include?

It ships with a 6 ft UL-listed 2-prong AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord, giving a combined reach of 12 ft from wall outlet to laptop.

Which way round does the USB-C plug go in, and what mistake do people make?

The USB-C connector is reversible so orientation does not matter; the common error is not pushing it fully home until it clicks, which leaves the laptop on battery power.

When should the AC cord be replaced?

Replace the 2-prong AC cord if the insulation cracks, the plug pins bend, or the cord becomes warm during normal 65 W charging.
