Questions about this item

How do I connect the 6 ft AC power cord and the 6 ft DC cable to start charging my MSI Prestige 14231?

Plug the 2-prong AC cord into a 100-240 V wall outlet, then insert the USB-C connector into the laptop's charging port; the adapter negotiates 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V or 20 V automatically.

When should I replace the USB-C cable or the adapter itself?

Replace the cable if the USB-C connector becomes loose, shows fraying near the strain relief, or delivers intermittent power; replace the adapter if it no longer maintains 65 W output or triggers overload protection repeatedly.

What power ceiling will I hit first during a long work session?

The adapter caps at 65 W continuous output, so sustained loads above that level will cause voltage droop or thermal shutdown before the 90 W peak rating is reached.
