  • 90-degree DC plug reduces stress on laptop power jack
  • 6-foot AC cord extends reach from wall outlet
  • Rugged sealed case resists moisture and high humidity
  • Built-in surge protection guards laptop from voltage spikes

Compatible Asus Slate models

This 65 W AC adapter replaces the original charger for Asus Eee Slate EP121 and B121 units including variants 1A016F, 1A031F, 1A004M and 1A005M. It delivers 19 V DC at 3.42 A for reliable operation and battery charging whether the tablet is on or off.

Input voltage and connector check

Verify that your wall outlet supplies between 100 V and 240 V AC at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, which covers standard mains worldwide. Ensure the tablet’s DC jack accepts the 90-degree right-angle plug supplied with this adapter.

Rugged case and cable layout

The ruggedised enclosure is sealed against moisture and high humidity for durable mobile use. A 6 ft two-prong AC cord provides extra reach, while the right-angle DC connector reduces strain on the tablet’s power jack during daily handling.

Questions about this item

Does the 65W adapter ship with the 6 ft AC cord or must that be bought separately?

The package includes the 65W adapter and a 6 ft 2-prong AC power cord, so nothing extra is required for mains connection.

My Asus EP121 originally used a 60W brick — is the 65W version the correct replacement?

Yes, the 19V 3.42A 65W output replaces both genuine Asus 60W and 65W adapters for the EP121, B121 and Slate models listed.

Will the right-angle DC plug deliver the full 65W without overheating the EP121 power jack?

The 90-degree elbow reduces mechanical stress on the jack while the internal protection limits output to 19V 3.42A, delivering the rated 65W safely.
