Vehicle power compatibility

This iTekiro car charger plugs into a 12 to 24 volt vehicle outlet and delivers up to 19.5 volts at 3.34 amps for a maximum of 65 watts. It replaces genuine HP 45 watt and 65 watt adapters for the listed HP 14 series laptops. The unit is new and weighs 9.7 ounces.

Installation and common issues

The L‑shaped right‑angle DC tip inserts securely and reduces strain on the laptop port compared with straight connectors. A 4.33 inch power cord provides extra reach inside the cabin. Built‑in short‑circuit and over‑temperature protection shut the charger down if a fault occurs. The smart LED indicator confirms power is flowing.

Output limits and constraints

Maximum output is 65 watts, so laptops requiring more power will not charge at full speed or may not charge at all. The adapter only operates from a 12 to 24 volt DC source and cannot be used with mains AC sockets. It is not an original HP part and carries a one‑year replacement warranty. Buyers needing an AC wall adapter or higher wattage should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the charger is working after plugging it into my car's 12V outlet?

The smart LED power indicator lights up when the charger receives power from the 12V to 24V DC input and is delivering 19.5V 3.34A output to the laptop.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a separate tip for my HP 14-dq1043cl?

The car charger with its attached L-shape tip and long power cord is included; no separate tip is required for the listed HP 14-dq1043cl and other compatible models.

Should I choose the 45W or 65W version for my HP 14-ds0060nr?

This single unit delivers up to 65W max output and replaces both genuine HP 45W and 65W adapters, so no separate version choice is needed.
