Purpose and compatibility

This iTekiro DC car charger delivers 20V at 3.25A for a maximum output of 65W. It replaces genuine Lenovo 45W and 65W adapters that use a slim tip connector, letting you power and charge compatible Lenovo laptops from a vehicle's 12V or 24V socket. It is not suitable for laptops that require a different tip size or a higher wattage supply.

Build and daily use

The adapter measures 3.94" by 1.57" by 1.18" and weighs 8.7 oz, so it fits easily in a glove compartment or laptop bag. A long power cord gives extra reach inside the cabin, and the unit includes short-circuit and over-temperature protection plus a smart LED indicator to confirm operation. It is a replacement part, not an original Lenovo accessory.

Thermals and power draw

The charger accepts a DC input range of 12V to 24V and converts it to a steady 20V 3.25A output without an internal fan, so it runs silently. Protection circuits guard against overheating during extended use, and the compact housing dissipates heat passively. Power consumption stays within the 65W maximum rating under normal load.
