The package includes a 6 ft AC cord and a 6 ft DC cord for extended reach. A ruggedised case and UL-listed AC cord provide durability and safety.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Ideal for owners of a ThinkPad P14s Gen 2 who need a replacement or spare 65 W USB-C charger with long cables. Not suitable for laptops that require more than 65 W or use a proprietary barrel connector instead of USB-C charging. Buyers needing a higher-wattage supply for larger workstations should look elsewhere.

Single deciding specification

The adapter provides a maximum of 65 W over USB-C with selectable voltages of 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V and 20 V. Confirm your laptop accepts 65 W USB-C Power Delivery at 20 V before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What USB-C cable length is included so the adapter reaches my ThinkPad P14s Gen 2?

The box contains a 6 ft DC power cord that connects the adapter to the laptop, plus a 6 ft 2-prong AC cord for the wall outlet.

Will this 65W adapter safely charge a ThinkPad that originally shipped with a 45W charger?

Yes, the adapter negotiates 5V, 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V up to 3.25A, so it replaces both 45W and 65W genuine Lenovo chargers without over-volting the system.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering power correctly after I plug it in?

The laptop’s battery icon will show charging, and the adapter’s internal protection limits output voltage and current to the negotiated USB-PD profile.
