iXever Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter 4K 30Hz 23

This adapter connects a Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 2 source to an HDMI display. It serves Mac, PC, and tablet users who need video and audio output to an HDTV, monitor, or projector. The 23 cm cable includes gold-plated connectors for reliable signal transfer.

Installation notes and common issues

Plug the Mini DisplayPort male end into the host and an HDMI cable into the female port. No external power is required. Remember the adapter is not bi-directional and only transmits from Mini DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 2 to HDMI. Audio output must be switched manually in system sound settings. It does not work with Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports.

Maximum supported resolution and refresh rate

Video output reaches 3840×2160 at 30 Hz via HDMI 1.4a signalling. Lower resolutions such as 2560×1600 and 1920×1200 run at 60 Hz. The 2.25 Gbps bandwidth limit means 4K 60 Hz is not possible. Choose this adapter only if 30 Hz at 4K meets your display requirements.
