USB-C dual 4K HDMI adapter for Thunderbolt 3 hosts

This iXever adapter connects a Thunderbolt 3 compatible USB-C port to two external HDMI monitors. It is designed for Windows and macOS laptops that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The aluminium housing measures 95 mm and includes a USB 3.0 port and a USB-C Power Delivery port.

Dual 4K output at 30 Hz via DisplayPort MST

Two HDMI ports each deliver 3840 x 2160 resolution at 30 Hz. Windows systems can extend or mirror across both screens using MST, while macOS is limited to mirror mode only. Lower resolutions such as 1440p and 1080p are supported at 60 Hz.

Requires host USB-C port

The host must expose DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video and accept up to 87 W Power Delivery for charging. A USB 3.0 port provides 5 Gbps data for peripherals. Without DP Alt Mode on the host, video output will not function.

Questions about this item

What resolution does the dual 4K HDMI output actually deliver on a Windows laptop?

The PD port supports up to 87 W charging so the host laptop stays powered during video and data use.

How much desk space does the 95 mm cable need for a clean setup?

The integrated cable is 95 mm long, so the adapter sits close to the host port without excess slack.
