J-Tech Digital 1x8 HDMI Splitter

This 1x8 HDMI splitter duplicates a single source across up to eight displays or projectors. It is built for home theatres, retail signage, classrooms and professional AV installations where identical mirrored content is required on every screen.

Mirror-only operation with 4K 60 Hz support

The unit outputs 4K at 60 Hz using 4:2:0 chroma subsampling and 10.2 Gbps bandwidth. It passes Dolby Digital, DTS, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD and uncompressed LPCM while maintaining HDCP 1.4 compliance and 12-bit deep colour for backward-compatible 1080p and 720p sources.

Suited for multi-screen mirroring.

Buyers needing independent extended desktops or separate content on each display should consider a matrix switch or graphics card with multiple outputs. This splitter serves installers who need one signal replicated reliably across eight endpoints.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI ports or internal signal board need replacement after years of daily 4K 60 Hz use?

The splitter has no moving parts or user-serviceable components; the HDMI ports and signal board are solid-state and rated for continuous operation.

What limit appears first when eight 4K displays run all day from the 10.2 Gbps bandwidth?

Total throughput is capped at 10.2 Gbps, so all eight outputs share the same 4K 60 Hz 4:2:0 stream without exceeding the bandwidth ceiling.

Does the unit stay cool and silent when it powers eight 4K screens continuously?

Passive cooling with no fan keeps it silent; the low-power HDMI circuitry generates minimal heat even at full 10.2 Gbps load.
