Tamper-Evident Sealing Tape

This red carton sealing tape reveals a hidden "VOID" message when removed, providing visible proof of tampering. It uses a matted polyester backing with solvent-based acrylic adhesive for all-weather adhesion. The tape is designed for high-security applications such as pharmaceuticals, evidence handling and valuable electronics shipments.

Sustained Adhesion Performance

The adhesive requires at least six hours on the carton before removal to reliably deposit the void legend. Once cured, the bond resists environmental variation and handling stress during transit. The polyester backing maintains tensile strength across the full roll length without stretching or splitting under load.

Upgrade From Standard Tape

This product replaces ordinary clear or brown packaging tape when visible tamper evidence is a requirement. The jump is worth it for regulated shipments, high-value goods or any chain-of-custody scenario where a broken seal must be immediately obvious. It is not suitable for recycled cartons.

Questions about this item

Does the 72 mm red tape generate any noise, heat or power draw while sealing cartons all day?

No — it is a passive adhesive tape with no moving parts, so it produces no noise, heat or electrical draw during use.

What surface must I already have for the 55-yard roll to adhere and show the VOID message?

A clean, non-recycled corrugated carton; the tape will not reveal the hidden legend on recycled board.

Will the solvent-based acrylic adhesive on this roll bond reliably to older cartons that have been in storage for months?

Yes, the all-weather acrylic adhesive is designed to stick to aged boxes, provided they are not recycled and the tape remains applied for at least six hours before removal.
