Evolve2 55 mono headset for hybrid work

The Jabra Evolve2 55 Link380a is a mono on-ear headset built for professionals who spend long hours on calls. It combines Active Noise Cancellation with a noise-cancelling microphone to keep conversations clear in open offices or at home. The headset connects via Bluetooth or the supplied USB-A Link380a adapter for plug-and-play simplicity. It is certified for major virtual meeting platforms.

Upgrade from basic headsets when focus matters

This model replaces single-ear headsets that lack ANC or a certified microphone, closing the gap when background noise disrupts calls. The jump is worth it if you need a dedicated mute button, a busy light and dual connectivity without installing extra software. It also suits users moving from corded USB headsets who want up to 30m wireless range while retaining a USB charging option.

Check USB-A port and single-ear preference

Verify your computer has a free USB-A port for the Link380a dongle if you plan to use the proprietary wireless link. Confirm that a mono on-ear design fits your comfort needs for all-day wear, as the headset covers only one ear. Buyers who want stereo audio, a boomless form factor or a USB-C dongle should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the on-ear headband design need a specific head width to fit comfortably?

The Evolve2 55 uses Jabra Air Comfort technology in its on-ear headband, which is designed to distribute pressure evenly across a wide range of head sizes for all-day wear.

What is the correct way to pair the Link 380a USB adapter, and what step do users often miss?

Insert the Link 380a into a USB-A port; the headset pairs automatically. Users often forget to select the headset as the default audio device in their operating system sound settings.

When will the integrated battery or ear cushions need replacement on this model?

The ear cushions are replaceable and should be swapped when they show wear or loss of seal. The internal battery is not user-replaceable; charge via the USB-C cord when the low-battery alert sounds.
