Purpose-built contact-centre headset

The Jabra BIZ 1500 Duo QD is a corded, over-the-head headset designed for cost-conscious contact centres. It carries a dual-earpiece design with foam cushions that keep ears cool during long shifts. HD Voice support and a noise-cancelling microphone deliver crystal-clear sound for professional customer interactions. Quick Disconnect connectivity pairs with the included Link 265 for simple call management.

Suits high-volume agents needing hearing protection

Agents who handle constant calls benefit from PeakStop technology that blocks sudden loud spikes before they reach the ear. The 270-degree boom arm adjusts easily and withstands repeated repositioning. Buyers who want wireless freedom or a single-ear wearing style should look at other models. This unit is built for wired, dual-ear use in stationary desk environments.

Link 265 adds inline call control

The bundled Link 265 adapter provides Quick Disconnect convenience and puts essential call functions at the user's fingertips. It enables simple call management without reaching for the softphone or desk phone. Foam ear cushions and the flexible boom arm complete the package for all-day comfort. No additional software or accessories are required for core operation.

Questions about this item

What type of phone or desk phone connector does the Quick Disconnect on the BIZ 1500 require?

The headset ends in a Quick Disconnect plug; you need a compatible QD cord such as the Link 265 or another Jabra QD cable that matches your desk phone or softphone adapter.

Will the 270 degree boom arm on the BIZ 1500 clear my existing over-the-head headband if I switch between them?

Yes, the boom rotates through 270 degrees so it can be positioned on either side and folded flat against the headband, leaving room for another headset to sit on top.

How can I verify PeakStop is protecting me from sudden loud spikes on the BIZ 1500?

Make a test call and trigger a sharp sound such as a handset slam; you should hear the spike clipped to a safe level instead of a painful blast.
