Jackson JS22 DKA Dinky Arch Top 6-String

The Jackson JS22 DKA Dinky Arch Top is a 6-string electric guitar built for players who want a modern superstrat feel at an accessible price. Its bolt-on maple speed neck features graphite reinforcement and a 12-16 compound radius bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets. High-output ceramic humbuckers deliver a thick, clear tone suited for heavy rhythm and lead work.

Before ordering check your setup

Verify that your amplifier and effects chain can handle high-output ceramic humbuckers without unwanted compression. Ensure you are comfortable maintaining a synchronized fulcrum tremolo bridge, as it requires specific setup for tuning stability. The 14.350 weight means the instrument feels substantial on a strap during long sessions.

Upgrade from entry-level guitars

This model replaces basic starter instruments that lack compound-radius fingerboards and graphite-reinforced necks. The jump is worth it when you need 24 jumbo frets for extended range and a three-way blade switch for versatile pickup selection. It is not for players who require active electronics or a fixed hardtail bridge.
