30 W soldering iron kit with two 12.5 g tubes of .6 mm 63/37 solder for low-temperature electronics work
This 30 W pencil-tip soldering iron runs on 110 V AC power and uses a ceramic heater to reach working temperature quickly. The 58-inch cord gives room to manoeuvre at a bench, and the blue handle stays comfortable during extended sessions. Two tubes of 0.6 mm diameter 63/37 tin-lead solder are included, each weighing 12.5 g.
The low wattage protects heat-sensitive components that a higher-power iron could damage, and the eutectic 63/37 solder melts cleanly at 183 °C without a pasty range. Users who need to solder heavy connectors, thick wire or large ground planes will find the thermal reserve insufficient and should choose a more powerful station.
The iron draws 30 watts from a standard 110 V outlet through a 1.5 metre cord, so no transformer or temperature controller is built in. If your mains voltage differs or you require adjustable temperature for lead-free alloys, this kit will not meet the requirement.

It runs on 110 V AC mains power supplied through the 58-inch cord.
Screw the tip into the threaded heater barrel until it seats firmly; do not overtighten or the ceramic may crack.
Replace a tube when the wire runs out; each tube holds 12.5 g of eutectic solder that melts at 183 °C.
