Eutectic 63/37 rosin-core solder melts at a single 184.5 °C point to protect heat-sensitive electronics
This 0.6mm rosin-core wire uses a eutectic 63/37 tin-lead alloy that melts at a true point of 184.5 Celsius. The fine diameter and low melting temperature suit delicate circuit-board work where components are sensitive to heat. Each spool contains 12.5g of solder with 2.0% flux.
Because the alloy has a single melting point rather than a range, it solidifies quickly and consistently during repeated joints. This behaviour reduces the risk of cold solder connections during long assembly or repair sessions. The rosin flux activates cleanly at working temperature.
The lightweight 12.5g spool is easy to handle at the bench and stores without taking much space. Its 0.6mm thickness feeds smoothly through fine tips for surface-mount and through-hole tasks. The leaded composition is not suitable for lead-free or high-volume production requirements.

The alloy melts at a single point of 184.5 °C, so a lower iron temperature is sufficient and less flux smoke is generated.
A temperature-controlled soldering iron, a stand with a damp sponge or brass wool, and a fume extractor or good ventilation.
Yes, the eutectic 63/37 alloy wets well at 184.5 °C and will fuse with existing lead-free joints when the iron reflows both metals.
