JDM Tuners Diecast Model

This 1/24 scale Jada diecast replicates the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX RHD with race number 26 in red and white graphics. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging as an officially licensed collectible. The model features a detailed interior, exterior and engine compartment with opening hood, doors and trunk. Real rubber tires complete the authentic presentation for adult hobby enthusiasts.

Scale and Material Constraints

At 1/24 scale the model measures approximately eight inches long, 3.25 inches wide and 2.625 inches high, limiting display options to shelves or cabinets that accommodate those dimensions. The diecast metal body with plastic parts provides weight and durability but is not intended for rough play or outdoor use. Small detailed components such as the opening panels require careful handling to avoid damage. This piece suits static display rather than functional testing or track use.

Right Hand Drive Configuration

The defining specification is the factory Right Hand Drive layout matching the Japanese domestic market Evolution IX. Buyers seeking a left-hand drive replica or a different model year will need another product. The #26 race livery and JDM Tuners branding are specific to this release and cannot be altered. Collectors focused on accurate JDM representation will find this detail decisive.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1/24 scale version or a different scale for my display shelf?

This model is offered only in 1/24 scale, measuring about 8 inches long, 3.25 inches wide and 2.625 inches high, so it fits standard display shelves without needing a larger footprint.

How does the right-hand-drive layout affect the interior detail when the model sits on my desk?

The cabin replicates the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX RHD dashboard and steering position, and opening doors let you see the detailed interior from any viewing angle.

What does the diecast metal construction mean for durability compared with plastic-only models?

The body and chassis are diecast metal with plastic detail parts, giving a solid feel and resistance to bending while the real rubber tyres and opening hood, doors and trunk withstand repeated handling.
