1:24 scale Ford Mustang GT diecast

This 1:24 scale model replicates the 2010 Ford Mustang GT in Matt Gray Metallic with black graphics and Ford Performance stripes. It is built from diecast metal with plastic parts and features a detailed interior, exterior and engine compartment. The officially licensed replica includes real rubber tires and opening hood, doors and trunk. It suits adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who want a display-ready piece.

Upgrade from smaller or less detailed replicas

Collectors moving up from smaller scales or basic toy cars gain a larger footprint with true-to-scale proportions and licensed authenticity. The jump is worth it when you want accurate panel gaps, a detailed engine bay and functional openings that cheaper models omit. The manufacturer's original unopened packaging also helps preserve collectible condition.

Stable display piece under handling

The diecast construction gives the model a substantial feel that resists flex when doors or the hood are opened repeatedly. Real rubber tires stay pliable for realistic stance without flattening during long-term shelf display. Paint and graphics hold up to occasional dusting and repositioning better than thinly coated plastic alternatives.

Questions about this item

How much display space does the 1/24 scale model need with its 8-inch length?

The model measures approximately 8 inches long, 3.75 inches wide and 2.5 inches high, so allow a few extra centimetres around it for the opening hood, doors and trunk.

What should I check when opening the factory-sealed box for the first time?

Remove the model carefully from the original packaging; the hood, doors and trunk are functional but may be held by light tabs or packaging inserts that need gentle release.

Will the real rubber tyres on this diecast need any upkeep over time?

The rubber tyres can dry out or flatten if the model sits in one position for years; rotate the car occasionally and keep it away from direct heat to preserve them.
