1/24 Scale DeLorean Time Machine Collectible

This Jada Toys die-cast model reproduces the 1985 DeLorean Time Machine in brushed metal finish at 1/24 scale. It is an officially licensed Back to the Future 40th Anniversary piece aimed at adult collectors and film enthusiasts. The model features opening doors, rolling wheels with real rubber tires, and a detailed interior and exterior. It arrives in special Doc Brown van packaging with a display ramp.

Brushed Metal Finish With Working Lights

The die-cast metal body carries a brushed silver coating that mirrors the screen-used car's appearance under sustained display lighting. Three included LR44 button cells power the integrated light feature for continuous illumination during shelf presentation. Precision construction with some plastic parts maintains structural integrity for long-term display without deformation. The collector-grade build suits both static showcase and occasional light handling.

Ready To Display In Custom Packaging

The model ships in manufacturer-sealed packaging that doubles as a dramatic display base with an integrated ramp recreating the film's opening scene. No assembly is required; simply remove the DeLorean from the truck-styled box and position it on the ramp or a flat surface. The only common issue is ensuring the button cells are correctly seated for the lights to function. Dimensions are approximately 8 by 3.75 by 2.75 inches.

Questions about this item

Does the die-cast DeLorean run hot or make any noise when the lights stay on for hours?

The model has no moving parts or fan; it only draws a tiny current from the three included LR44 cells, so it stays cool and silent.

What extra items are needed before the time-circuit lights will work?

Three LR44/AG13 button-cell batteries are supplied in the box, so no separate purchase is required.

Will the 1/24 scale DeLorean fit the ramp that comes with the Doc Brown van packaging?

Yes, the vehicle is shown rolling down that ramp in the 40th-anniversary box, so it matches the included accessory.
