1/24 Flying DeLorean Time Machine

This 1/24 scale diecast replica captures the DeLorean Brushed Metal Time Machine in its flying configuration from Back to the Future Part II. The model features a detailed interior and exterior finished in brushed metal with working lights powered by three included LR44 button cell batteries. Opening doors and real rubber tires add to the display quality. It is aimed at adult collectors of movie vehicles and Hollywood Rides series enthusiasts.

Folding wheel conversion feature

The key upgrade over standard DeLorean replicas is the folding wheel mechanism that replicates the flight-mode transformation seen in the 1989 film. This mechanical feature justifies the purchase for collectors who specifically want the flying version rather than the road-going variant. The jump is worth it when the hovering configuration is the primary display pose desired.

Adult collectors seeking film-accurate flight mode

This model suits buyers who want a screen-accurate flying DeLorean with illuminated details and the signature wheel-folding action. Collectors who prefer a sealed-body model without moving parts or those looking for a larger scale replica should look at something else. Buyers needing a toy rated for child's play rather than adult display will also find this unsuitable.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the 1/24 scale DeLorean Time Machine so I can check if it fits my display shelf?

The model measures approximately 8.25 inches long, 3.75 inches wide and 2.75 inches high, so verify your shelf depth and clearance against those figures.

How do I activate the lights on the flying version, and what is the common mistake during setup?

Install the three included LR44/AG13 button cell batteries into the compartment; the step people miss is removing the small plastic insulator tab before the lights will work.

When will the LR44/AG13 button cell batteries need replacing, and how many does the model use?

The model uses three LR44/AG13 cells; replace them when the time-circuit lights dim or stop illuminating.
