Scale and Licensing

This 1/24 scale diecast Volkswagen Bus replicates the "WheelJack" character from the 2023 Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie. It features a tan and beige "Frank's TV Repair" livery and an included Transformers logo statue. The officially licensed model is made of diecast metal with plastic parts and arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Display Upgrade

Collectors moving from smaller scales or basic toy lines gain a larger footprint with opening front doors and a detailed interior, exterior, and engine compartment. Real rubber tires add tactile realism absent on many entry-level models. The jump is worth it when shelf space allows for the approximately 7.5-inch length and a preference for movie-accurate statue integration.

Shelf-Ready Setup

The model requires no assembly; simply remove it from the box for immediate display. The opening front doors are the only moving parts and should be handled gently to avoid stress on the hinges. The separate statue stands approximately 2.75 inches tall and balances on its own base. No batteries or tools are needed.

Questions about this item

How much shelf depth does the 1/24 scale Volkswagen Bus need for display?

The model measures approximately 7.5 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3.75 inches high, so allow at least that footprint plus a small margin.

What is the correct way to open the front doors without stressing the hinges?

Grip each door by its outer edge and swing outward slowly; forcing them from the centre can bend the diecast hinge pins.

Will the rubber tyres or the 2.75-inch Transformers statue need replacement over time?

The real rubber tyres may harden or crack after several years; the statue is a fixed diecast piece and does not wear out.
