Share four USB 3.0 peripherals between two computers with one-button switching, no driver installation required
The Jansicotek KVM switch lets two computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals such as printers, scanners, keyboards, mice and storage drives. It suits home users and small offices that want to avoid cable swapping or network-share configuration. The unit is bus-powered and includes an optional micro-USB port for a standard 5 V adapter when higher-draw devices are connected. It works with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS.
Installation requires no driver on supported systems; simply connect the cables and press the front button to toggle the active computer. LED indicators show which system currently owns the four ports. The optional 5 V power adapter is not included and must be sourced separately; using any charger with a higher voltage output is not allowed and may affect product performance.
The switch passes USB 3.0 signals across four downstream ports, so total throughput is shared among all active devices. Bus power alone may be insufficient for multiple hard drives or other high-current peripherals, making the external 5 V input necessary in those cases. The device only switches USB data and power; it does not carry video, audio or other signalling between the two connected computers.

The LED indicator lights show which of the two computers is currently active, letting you verify the connection at a glance.
The unit includes the KVM switch itself; a standard 5 V power adapter is not included and must be bought separately if you connect power-hungry peripherals such as hard drives.
This single model provides four USB 3.0 ports for sharing keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, flash drives or external drives between two systems.
