One DisplayPort 1.4 input to dual DisplayPort

The Jansicotek directional video switch routes a single DisplayPort 1.4 source to both a DisplayPort and an HDMI 2.1 display simultaneously. It supports mirror and extended desktop modes across Windows, Android and iOS systems. The unit requires the included DC 5 V power lead to operate.

Bandwidth capped at 32.4 Gbps limits 8K to 30 Hz

The DisplayPort 1.4 link provides 32.4 Gbps throughput, so 8K resolution is restricted to 30 Hz while 4K reaches 120 Hz. High refresh rates at 1440p such as 165 Hz and 144 Hz are only available on the DisplayPort output; the HDMI 2.1 port does not support those refresh rates. Actual performance depends on the source, cables and display capabilities.

Metal housing with USB power input suits fixed

A compact metal enclosure houses the switching logic and a USB power socket for the supplied 5 V cable. The fixed port layout means cables run permanently to two monitors, which is convenient for a stationary dual-screen setup but less suited to frequent re-plugging. No mechanical switch is fitted; mode selection is handled by the host system.
