This Jansicotek switch routes video and audio from three HDMI 2.1 sources to a single display. It is built for users who connect a console, a streaming box and a PC to one 8K or 4K screen. The unit includes an IR remote and a manual button for input selection. A DC 5 V power cable is supplied for stable operation.

Capacity and headroom: 48 Gbps bandwidth

The switch passes 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with Dynamic HDR and VRR support. Chroma 4:2:0, 4:2:2 and 4:4:4 sampling are handled at full bandwidth. 1080p content is also supported. The spec sheet notes that HDMI 2.1 cables should be kept under 10 metres to maintain 8K 60 Hz performance. Power-hungry source devices may require the external supply to avoid signal drop-out.

Will the 8K@60Hz switch pass 4K@120Hz from a PS5 through an older 4K TV that only has HDMI 2.0 ports?

The switch outputs 4K@120Hz over HDMI 2.1; an HDMI 2.0 TV will accept the signal but display at its own 4K@60Hz limit, so you still get 4K HDR content without replacing the TV.

How do I confirm the 48Gbps link is active after connecting three sources and the display?

The front LED shows the selected input; if the TV reports 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz in its info menu and there are no drop-outs, the full 48Gbps path is working.
