15-in-1 USB-C Docking Station

The Jansicotek BXS15IN1 expands a single Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C port into fifteen connections. It adds 4K HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, SD and TF card readers, a 3.5 mm audio jack, 87 W pass-through charging and a 10 W wireless charging pad. The silver aluminium enclosure measures 8.23 by 3.82 by 1.06 inches and weighs 10 ounces.

Host port and power budget

Your laptop must supply video and data over a Thunderbolt 3 or full-featured USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery. The hub draws up to 100 W from the host charger to deliver 87 W to the laptop and 10 W to the wireless pad; verify your power adapter meets that requirement. Driver-free operation is listed for macOS and Windows on the compatible MacBook, iMac, Surface and Chromebook models shown in the specifications.

Thermal behaviour under load

All seven USB ports, both video outputs, the card readers, Ethernet and the wireless charger share the hub’s internal power conversion circuitry. Sustained 5 Gbps transfers on three USB 3.0 devices plus 4K@30 Hz video and 10 W wireless charging will raise the enclosure temperature until the built-in thermal management balances dissipation. The aluminium shell acts as the heatsink; ensure the top and bottom faces remain unobstructed during prolonged sessions.
