14-in-1 USB-C Dock for Thunderbolt 3 Laptops

The Jansicotek DS14IN1 expands a single USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port into fourteen connections. It targets MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Surface and Chromebook users who need video, data, audio, wired networking and card readers from one compact hub.

Dual 4K HDMI and VGA plus 87 W pass-through charging

The HDMI output drives a display at 3840x2160 30 Hz, dropping to 2K 60 Hz when VGA is used simultaneously; VGA alone reaches 1080p 60 Hz. A dedicated USB-C PD port accepts up to an 87 W adapter so the host laptop charges while every peripheral stays active.

Aluminium alloy shell

The silver enclosure measures 10.5 x 3 x 0.75 inches and weighs 14 ounces. Three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and two USB-C Gen 1 ports each run at 5 Gbps, while two USB 2.0 ports handle 480 Mbps accessories; SD and TF slots read both cards at once, and the 3.5 mm jack carries stereo output and microphone input together.

Questions about this item

Will the aluminium casing need any thermal paste or pad replacement after heavy daily use?

The aluminium alloy case acts as a passive heatsink; no thermal paste or pads are used, so nothing requires replacement.

What throughput limit appears first when all five USB ports and the Gigabit RJ45 run together?

The two USB-C data ports and three USB 3.0 Type-A ports share a 5 Gbps upstream link, so that 5 Gbps ceiling is the first bottleneck.

How hot and loud does the dock get when it passes 87 W PD charging plus 4K 30 Hz video all day?

The fanless aluminium enclosure stays silent; surface temperature rises but remains within safe operating limits for continuous use.
