14-in-1 USB-C Docking Station

The Jansicotek DS14IN1 expands a single Thunderbolt 3 or USB-C port into fourteen connections. It adds 4K HDMI, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, audio, SD and TF card readers plus five USB-A and two USB-C data ports. An 87 W Power Delivery input keeps the host laptop charged while all peripherals are active.

Dual-display users and legacy screens

Professionals who need simultaneous HDMI and VGA output for presentations or extended desktop workflows will benefit. The hub mirrors displays on macOS and extends them on Windows. Buyers who require only a single video output or who need higher than 4K 30 Hz refresh rates should consider a different adapter.

4K HDMI at 30 Hz with VGA fallback

The HDMI port delivers 3840×2160 at 30 Hz; when VGA is used simultaneously the HDMI signal drops to 2K at 60 Hz. VGA alone supports 1080p or 2K at 60 Hz. This specification determines whether the dock matches your monitor and resolution requirements.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 10.5 x 3 x 0.75 inch aluminium hub occupy?

The silver aluminium case measures 10.5 inches long, 3 inches wide and 0.75 inches thick, so it fits beside a laptop without overhanging most keyboard trays.

Which host port must the hub plug into for the 87 W PD charging and dual video to work?

Connect the hub's captive USB-C cable to a Thunderbolt 3 or full-featured USB-C port that supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode; a data-only port will not pass video or full charging power.

When will the SD and TF card slots need attention if both are used daily?

The slots have no moving parts, so only the spring-eject mechanism may wear; if a card sticks, power off the host, then gently push the card in to release it.
