The cables terminate in right-angle USB-C plugs with aluminium housings and nylon-braided jackets over a 250d fibre core. They require a USB-C power adapter capable of delivering up to 240W; without such an adapter the cable will negotiate a lower rate. Data transfer runs at USB 2.0, 480Mbps, so the cables are not suited for USB 3.0 or 4K video workflows. The tangle-free design simplifies routing and storage in a bag or on a desk.
