Nylon-braided USB-A to USB-C cable delivers up to 80W at 7A with built-in E-Marker chip and 480 Mbps data transfer
This USB A to USB C cable supports up to 80W charging with a maximum current of 7A. It includes a built-in E-marker chip to negotiate power delivery with compatible chargers. The 3.3FT length suits desktop and bedside use. An aluminium alloy shell protects the connector ends.
The cable upgrades from standard USB 2.0 Type-C cables that typically limit current to 3A or 5A. The jump is worth it when the charger and device both support 80W Power Delivery and a 7A rating. Without a matching 80W PD charger the cable operates at the charger's lower limit.
The 80W capability comfortably charges phones such as the Galaxy S22 or Pixel, tablets including iPad Mini Air and Pro, and laptops up to a MacBook Pro 16. Data transfer runs at USB 2.0 480Mbps so large file moves are slow. Video output is not supported.

Other versions of this model
Yes, it requires a fast-charging protocol wall charger capable of 80W output to achieve the maximum 7A charging speed.
Forcing the reversible USB-C plug upside-down can damage the internal E-marker chip; align the wider side of the connector with the port before inserting.
The strain relief behind the zinc alloy connector ends is the first point to show fatigue; inspect it periodically for fraying.
