Essager WX 540° Rotating Magnetic Cable

The Jansicotek Essager WX is a USB-A to USB-C cable with a magnetic tip that rotates 540° — 360° around its axis plus a 180° L‑shaped bend. It targets phone, tablet and laptop owners who want a single cable that stays out of the way while gaming or working at a desk.

Sustained‑load charging and data behaviour

The cable supports up to 3.0 A at 5 V and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, so it maintains fast charging during long sessions without the connector loosening. Data transfer runs at 480 Mbps, which is sufficient for syncing files but not for high‑speed external drives.

Installation and common pitfalls

Snap one of the three included magnetic tips — USB‑C, Micro‑USB or Lightning — into the device port, then attach the cable magnetically; the LED indicator helps alignment in low light. The nylon braid resists fraying, but the magnetic tips are small and can be lost if not left inserted, and the cable only works with the supplied tips.

Questions about this item

Does the 540° rotating magnetic head generate extra heat during long charging sessions?

The cable supports up to 3.0A at 5V with QC 3.0, so heat stays within normal USB limits even with all‑day use.

What must I already own to use the three magnetic tips with my devices?

You need a USB‑A power source and devices with Micro‑USB, USB‑C or Lightning ports to accept the supplied magnetic tips.

Will the 480 Mbps data rate work reliably with an older laptop that only has USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the cable’s 480 Mbps transfer speed matches USB 2.0, so it will sync at the laptop’s maximum rate.
