A USB-A to USB-C cable delivering 100W at 7A with 480Mbps data transfer and a 30000-bend nylon jacket
This cable connects a standard USB-A port to a USB-C device and delivers up to 100W of power at 20V and 7A. It includes a built-in Emarker chip to support the high-current handshake required for fast charging. Data transfer reaches 480Mbps, which is USB 2.0 speed. The brown nylon jacket and aluminium alloy connector shells are rated for more than 30,000 bend cycles.
It works with devices that accept USB Power Delivery over a USB-A source, such as recent Samsung Galaxy phones, iPad Pro models, Xiaomi and Redmi handsets, Pixel phones, Nintendo Switch and PS5 controllers. Buyers whose laptops or power banks only provide USB-C Power Delivery ports will not be able to use the USB-A plug. Anyone who needs 5Gbps or 10Gbps data rates should look for a USB 3.1 or USB 3.2 cable instead.
No drivers or software are required — simply connect the USB-A end to a charger or port and the USB-C end to the device. The cable is stiff at first because of the reinforced nylon braid, so route it gently to avoid stress on the aluminium shells. The most common issue is expecting 100W from a USB-A port that is limited to 5V/2.4A; in that case charging will fall back to the port’s maximum capability.

Other versions of this model
You need a USB-A charger that can supply 20 V at 7 A to reach the 100 W rating.
The cable delivers up to 20 V / 7 A, but the Galaxy S9 will only draw the power its own charging circuit allows.
Use a USB power meter between the charger and cable; it should show 20 V and up to 7 A when the connected device requests full power.
