The Essager XJI cable connects a USB-C power source to Apple devices with a Lightning port. It delivers up to 29W Power Delivery fast charging for compatible iPhone models including the 14, 13, 12 and 11 series. The cable is Apple MFi certified with an authorised chip that prevents compatibility warnings. It also supports 480Mbps data transfer between your iPhone and a laptop.

Sustained charging behaviour

The cable maintains up to 29W output when paired with a PD29W or higher charger, reaching roughly 50% charge on an iPhone 14 Pro Max in about 29 minutes. It is backwards compatible with PD27W and PD20W sources, so charging speed scales to the available adapter. A built-in smart chip regulates current to a maximum of 3A for stable delivery throughout the session. The five-strand thickened wire core reduces resistance and heat during prolonged use.

Thermals, noise and power draw

The aluminium alloy housing and braided fabric jacket help dissipate warmth generated by the 3A current flow. Flame-retardant outer material further limits temperature rise under load.
