Essager XJI 3.3ft USB-C to Lightning cable

The Jansicotek Essager XJI is a 3.3ft USB-C to Lightning cable rated for 29W power delivery and 3A maximum current. It supports 480Mbps data transfer and carries Apple MFi certification for broad compatibility with iPhone and iPad models.

Suits iPhone 14 Pro Max users needing 29W PD

This cable suits owners of iPhone 14 Pro Max and earlier models who want 29W fast charging with a PD 29W or higher charger. It is not for users who require USB 3 or higher data speeds, nor for devices that use USB-C or Micro-USB ports instead of Lightning.

29W charging headroom with 480Mbps data limit

The cable comfortably handles 29W PD charging, reaching 50% charge on an iPhone 14 Pro Max in roughly 30 minutes with a suitable charger. It runs out of headroom for data-intensive workflows because the 480Mbps rate limits large file transfers compared to faster interfaces.

Questions about this item

Which charger do I need to get the 29 W fast charge from this cable?

A USB-C PD charger rated 29 W or higher is required; the cable is backwards compatible with 27 W and 20 W chargers but will charge at those lower rates.

Can I still use this cable with my iPhone 11 and older Lightning accessories?

Yes, the Lightning connector works with iPhone 11, XS, XR, 8 Plus and earlier models as well as AirPods Pro for both charging and 480 Mbps data transfer.

How do I know the cable is delivering the full 29 W to my iPhone 14 Pro Max?

The phone should reach roughly 50 % charge in about 29 minutes when paired with a 29 W or higher PD charger, confirming the cable is operating at its rated speed.
