This Jansicotek Essager XR cable set includes two 3.3 ft USB-A to USB-C cables rated for 100 W power delivery. Each cable carries a built-in E-Marker chip and supports up to 7 A at 11 V for fast charging phones, tablets and laptops. The transparent connector housing shows the internal circuitry. Data transfer runs at USB 2.0 speeds and video output is not supported.

Build fit and charger requirements

The cables plug into any standard USB-A port on a charger, hub or computer and deliver power to USB-C devices. To reach the rated 100 W you must pair them with a 100 W USB Power Delivery wall charger; a lower-output charger will limit the charging rate. They free up a USB-C charger port by letting you use existing USB-A power sources for USB-C gear.

Thermals noise and power draw

The cables are passive assemblies with no active cooling, so they produce no audible noise. Under full 100 W load the conductors and E-Marker chip warm slightly but remain within normal operating limits for the specification. No external power is drawn beyond what the connected charger supplies to the attached device.
