What you get

This pack contains two USB-A to USB-C cables, each 3.3 feet long, built with an E-marker chip and a transparent braided shell. They are designed for users who need to charge laptops, tablets or phones from a standard USB-A power source.

Deciding specification

The cables support up to 100W power delivery at 11V and 7A maximum current. If your charger and device both negotiate that profile, you can charge a MacBook Pro 16 to 90-100% in 1.8 hours or a Samsung phone to 80% in 35 minutes.

Thermals, noise and power

Passive cables produce no noise and add negligible heat during normal use. The built-in E-marker chip manages the power handshake so the connected devices draw only what they negotiate, keeping thermal load on the cable itself minimal.

Questions about this item

What does the 100W rating actually deliver when I plug this cable into my laptop?

With a compatible 100W charger it can push 11V at up to 7A, so a MacBook Pro 16 reaches 90-100% in about 1.8 hours and a Samsung S20 hits 80% in 35 minutes.

The cable uses a USB-A plug — what charging standard does that limit me to in practice?

The USB-A end caps the connection at USB 2.0 data speeds, but the built-in E-marker chip still negotiates up to 100W Power Delivery so fast charging works with any USB-C device.

How long is each cable and will the transparent braided jacket fit tight ports on a MacBook Pro?

Each cable is 3.3FT (1m) long; the aluminium-alloy shell and nylon braid are slim enough to seat cleanly in recessed USB-C ports on laptops and phones.
