This cable connects a USB-A charger or port to a USB-C device. It delivers up to 100W of power for fast charging phones, tablets and laptops. A built-in E-Marker chip manages the power negotiation. The transparent connector housings show the internal circuitry.

USB 2.0 data and no video output

Data moves at USB 2.0 480 Mbps in both directions. The cable does not carry a video signal, so it cannot drive an external display. Maximum charging performance requires a charger that supports Power Delivery, QC, AFC or FCP protocols. Without such a charger the cable will still work but at lower speeds.
