Practical limits of USB 2.0

Data transfer tops out at 480Mbps because the cable uses the USB 2.0 standard. It does not support video output, so external monitors cannot be driven through this cord. The E-Marker chip negotiates up to 100W with compatible chargers, but speeds above USB 2.0 are not possible.
