HDMI 2.1 Bidirectional Switch for Two Sources
The Jansicotek HDMI 2.1 Bidirectional Switch connects two HDMI sources to one display or toggles one source between two displays. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. The unit is designed for gamers and home-theatre users who need to share a single screen between consoles, a PC and a streaming stick.
Manual Button Switching and 48 Gbps Bandwidth
A physical button on the device selects the active input or output without software or remote control. The switch handles 48 Gbps throughput and passes Dynamic HDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and HDCP 2.3. It also carries eARC and high-bitrate audio formats such as DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X for surround-sound systems.
Check Cable Lengths and Display Capabilities
Source devices, cables and displays must all support the target resolution and refresh rate. The supplier notes a maximum cable length of 3 metres for 4K at 120 Hz or 8K at 60 Hz operation, and 1.5 metres for 8K at 60 Hz. Only one output display can be active at a time when using the 1-in-2-out mode.

Questions about this item
Will the mechanical selector button wear out after daily switching between my PS5 and laptop?
The button is a simple mechanical toggle rated for thousands of cycles; no user-serviceable parts exist, so if it eventually fails the whole unit would need replacement.
What resolution ceiling appears first when I run 4K 120 Hz HDR content continuously?
The 48 Gbps bandwidth limit caps sustained throughput at 4K 120 Hz 4:4:4 or 8K 60 Hz 4:2:0; pushing higher colour depth or refresh would exceed the link budget.
Does the adapter get warm or draw noticeable power when left on all day?
It is a passive HDMI 2.1 switch with no external power supply, so it draws only micro-watts from the source and stays at room temperature during continuous use.
