Four-by-four HDMI matrix

The Jansicotek HDMI Matrix Switch 4x4 routes four HDMI sources to four displays, supporting switching and splitting in home theatres, classrooms, retail spaces and control rooms. It handles resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 with YUV 4:2:0 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz. An IR remote and front-panel buttons provide control, with a three-to-five-second delay when changing routes. Audio passes through in PCM, Dolby AC3, DTS 5.1, DTS 7.1 and DSD formats.

Cables and sources to verify

Confirm each source device outputs HDMI 1.4 signals within the supported resolution and refresh-rate limits. Use AWG26 HDMI 1.4 standard cables no longer than eight metres on both input and output sides. The unit does not perform EDID management, so source devices must negotiate compatible formats without assistance. Ensure your sources can deliver 3D or 3440 x 2160 at 30 Hz if those modes are required.

Integration into an AV system

The matrix fits into multi-zone installations where four sources must reach four screens independently or simultaneously. It frees up manual cable swapping and works alongside splitters, extenders and converters from the same ecosystem. Power the unit, connect sources and displays within the eight-metre cable limit, then use the IR remote or front buttons to route any input to any output. No EDID configuration is needed, simplifying deployment in conference rooms, video walls and digital-signage setups.
