This Jansicotek HDMI switch connects up to seven source devices to a single display, supporting 4K at 60 Hz with HDR10 and Dolby Vision. It is suited for home-theatre enthusiasts or desk setups that need to toggle between consoles, streaming sticks and PCs without unplugging cables. The unit handles 18 Gbps bandwidth and HDCP 2.2 for protected content.

Sustained switching reliability

The switcher maintains a stable 4K 60 Hz signal during extended sessions with no lag, flash or resolution drop reported in the specifications. Automatic switching detects the most recently inserted active source and transitions seamlessly, while manual and remote modes remain responsive over long periods. Deep-colour 36-bit pass-through is preserved continuously across all supported formats.

Thermals noise and power draw

The compact black enclosure operates silently with no moving parts, drawing power from the included supply to drive seven ports at 600 MHz pixel clock. Typical use stays cool to the touch and adds negligible load to a power strip. Remote control functions up to 26 feet line-of-sight for convenient couch-side operation.

Questions about this item

Does the 7-port HDMI switch generate noticeable heat or draw much power when left on all day?

The unit is a passive HDMI 2.0b switch with no active cooling, so it runs cool and draws minimal power from the included supply during continuous use.

What cables or power source must I already have to use this 7-input switch?

You need seven HDMI cables for the sources, one HDMI cable for the display, and a free mains socket for the supplied power adapter.

Will my older 1080p Blu-ray player and 720p console work alongside 4K 60Hz gear on this switch?

Yes — the switch is backward compatible with 1080p, 720p and 3D 1080p signals, so legacy devices share the same output without extra setup.
