What the switch does
The Jansicotek OZ8AB is a bi-directional HDMI 2.1 switch that lets you connect two sources to one display or one source to two displays. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with 48 Gbps bandwidth. Manual switching is required via the button on the unit. The package includes a DC 5 V power cable.
Interface limits you should know
The switch handles 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, and lower resolutions such as 1080p at 240 Hz. It passes VRR, Dynamic HDR and Dolby Vision through its 48 Gbps link. Both outputs cannot show an image at the same time. High-power sources may need three to six seconds to re-sync after a manual switch. Use certified HDMI 2.1 cables no longer than three metres for the top resolutions.
The spec that decides fit
You need a single device that can alternate between two HDMI 2.1 sources on one screen or send one source to either of two screens, but never both simultaneously. If your installation requires automatic switching or simultaneous dual-display output, this unit will not meet that need.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 2-in-1-out switcher mode or the 1-in-2-out splitter mode for my Jansicotek OZ8AB?
Choose 2-in-1-out to connect two sources like a PS5 and Xbox Series X to one 8K display, or 1-in-2-out to send one source to two screens — only one screen shows the image at a time.
What does the 48Gbps bandwidth actually deliver when the switch is in my system?
It carries uncompressed 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz with VRR and Dynamic HDR, so high-frame-rate gaming and Dolby Vision pass through without compression or added latency.
How does the HDMI 2.1 interface limit what I can run through the OZ8AB?
The HDMI 2.1 ports cap the link at 48Gbps, enabling 7680x4320 at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz, and 1080p at 240 Hz, but two outputs cannot be active simultaneously in splitter mode.
