Bi-Directional HDMI 2.0b Switch

The Jansicotek OZAB connects two HDMI sources to one display or one source to two displays, with only one screen active at a time. It suits owners of a PS5, Xbox Series X, Blu-ray player or streaming stick who need manual source selection on a single 4K screen. Buyers who want simultaneous output on two monitors cannot use this device.

18 Gbps Sustained Bandwidth

The switch maintains 18 Gbps throughput for 4K at 60 Hz with HDR10 and 4:4:4 chroma, passing DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and LPCM 7.1 without compression. Aluminium alloy housing and the included 5 V power cable keep signal integrity stable during long gaming or cinema sessions. No automatic switching occurs; the button press is the only way to change the active path.

Manual-Only Source Selection

This unit requires a physical button press to toggle between inputs or outputs; it does not detect or switch on signal presence. Users who need hands-free, automatic switching when a console powers on must choose a different switcher.

Questions about this item

Does the Jansicotek OZAB switch draw noticeable power or generate heat when left on all day?

The unit is described as requiring no external power for typical use, and the aluminium alloy body acts as a passive heatsink, so it runs cool and draws negligible power during continuous operation.

Which cables and power items must I already have to use the OZAB switch with my console and TV?

You need standard HDMI 2.0 cables for each source and display; a 5 V DC power cable is included but only required for high-power sources, and one 4K@60 Hz HDMI cable is also supplied.

Will the OZAB switch pass 4K@60 Hz HDR from my Xbox Series X to an older 1080p monitor without downscaling issues?

The switch supports 4K@60 Hz, HDR10 and HDCP 2.2, and is backward compatible with 1080p and lower resolutions, so it will pass the signal through while the monitor handles its own scaling.
