The HDMI loop-out passes 4K 60 Hz 8:8:8 to a display, but the USB 3.0 path tops out at 4K 30 fps with YUY2 or RGB24 colour. HDCP 2.2 sources are supported, so protected content from modern consoles can be recorded.

Driver-free setup with IR switching

The device works with OBS Studio, VLC and other UVC applications on Windows, macOS and Linux without extra drivers. An IR remote selects the active HDMI input; the only common issue is forgetting to set the console output to 4K 30 fps or lower so the USB link can handle it.
