Four-Input HDMI Capture Switch

The Jansicotek OZC7 is a 4x1 HDMI video capturing device built for streamers, educators and professionals who need to mix four HDMI sources into a single USB 3.0 feed. It accepts four simultaneous HDMI inputs plus a microphone, passes one selected signal through its HDMI loop-out at up to 4K@30Hz, and delivers captured video to a PC or Mac at up to 1080@60fps. Driver-free operation works with any third-party capture or streaming software.

From Single-Source Cards to 4x1 Switching

Upgrading from a basic single-input capture card is worthwhile when you regularly switch between consoles, cameras or a PC during live sessions and want seamless transitions without unplugging cables. The five view modes let you preview or picture-in-picture all four inputs, which a single-port device cannot do. If you only ever record one source at a time, the extra inputs and switching logic add complexity you will not use.

Driver-Free USB 3.0 Setup

Installation is plug-and-play: connect the included USB 3.0-to-USB 3.0 or USB 3.0-to-Type-C cable, link up to four HDMI sources, and select the active input via the IR remote or front-panel button. The unit draws power from the USB bus, so no external adapter is required. Common issues arise when the host USB port cannot supply enough current for all four active inputs or when capture software defaults to a lower colour space; selecting YUY2, RGB24 or MJPEG in the software usually resolves colour mismatches.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 4.45 x 2.2 x .71 inch capture unit need?

The box measures 4.45 by 2.2 by .71 inches and weighs .352 ounces, so it fits on a small shelf or behind a monitor without blocking other ports.

Which cable should I plug into the computer first to avoid a blank preview?

Connect the USB 3.0 or USB 3.0-to-Type-C cable to the PC before powering the four HDMI sources; the device is driver-free and appears as a video device once the host port is live.

Will the IR remote or the HDMI loop-out port need replacement over time?

The remote uses a standard coin cell that can be swapped when range drops, and the loop-out is a passive HDMI 1.4 socket with no moving parts to wear out.
